Description:

The Library is a lively Woodhouse Lane pub serving craft beer, cocktails, pub food, sport and student-friendly drinks just a short wander from the University of Leeds. It is big, social and very good at turning “quick one after lectures” into a full committee meeting with pints.

Good for:

Craft beer, cocktails, pub food, live sport, student nights, group drinks, casual lunches, Otley Run stops, beer garden pints and anyone who likes a pub with volume, value and absolutely no library-level silence.

Nearby:

University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett University, Woodhouse Moor, The Fenton, The Eldon, Hyde Park, Millennium Square, Leeds City Museum.

Make a Day of It:

Start with a wander around Woodhouse Moor or the university area, then head to The Library for food, drinks or live sport. If you are doing the Otley Run, this is a classic stop. If you are not doing the Otley Run, congratulations, your shoes may survive the day.

The Tidy Take:

The Library is a proper Leeds student-pub staple, loud, central, affordable and full of character. Great for groups, sport, casual food and those nights that begin sensibly but start making questionable decisions somewhere around pint two.
