If the weather is doing classic Yorkshire nonsense, this is a very handy city-centre escape with plenty to do without needing to keep opening your umbrella like a stressed magician.

The Light is one of Leeds’ easiest all-rounders. It is central, useful and packed with options, whether you want a meal, a movie, a hotel stay, a gym session or a full “we’ll see where the day goes” kind of plan. Not exactly hidden, but definitely handy.
