Description:
Banyan is a stylish bar and kitchen in the Old Post Office Building on City Square, just a short walk from Leeds Train Station. It serves globally inspired food, sharing plates, cocktails, bottomless brunch and drinks in a lively city-centre setting made for lunches, after-work plans, dates, celebrations and those “meet near the station” nights that somehow get very comfortable.

Good for:
Cocktails · Bottomless brunch · Sharing plates · Date nights · After-work drinks · Group meals · Celebrations · Station meet-ups · City-centre dining

Nearby:
City Square · Leeds Train Station · Queens Hotel · Park Row · Greek Street · Trinity Leeds · Boar Lane · Quebec Street · Granary Wharf

Make a Day of It:
Start with shopping around Trinity Leeds or a wander through City Square, then head to Banyan for food, cocktails or bottomless brunch. If you are making a full evening of it, carry on towards Greek Street, Park Row or Granary Wharf, although Banyan is very capable of turning “just one drink” into the whole plan.

The Tidy Take:
Banyan is one of Leeds’ easiest city-centre crowd-pleasers. Big building, strong location, plenty of cocktails and a menu that works whether you are brunching, grazing or getting the night started. Basically, if nobody can decide where to meet, Banyan quietly solves the argument.
