Description:
Lazy Lounge is an independent wine bar and grill in Leeds’ financial district, serving wine, beer, spirits, food, tastings and relaxed after-work drinks from its Westpoint spot. It is cosy, grown-up and very good at making “just a glass” become a bottle with a backstory.
Good for:
Wine, gin, whisky, after-work drinks, relaxed dinners, tastings, date nights, private hire, corporate events and anyone who thinks choosing a bottle should feel like a fun little personality test.
Nearby:
Wellington Place, Leeds Station, City Square, Park Square, Granary Wharf, Novotel Leeds Centre, Canal Wharf.
Make a Day of It:
Start with a wander around Wellington Place or Granary Wharf, then head to Lazy Lounge for wine, food and a proper sit-down. It is a strong shout after work, before the train or when you want somewhere calmer than the full city-centre chaos but still close enough to everything.
The Tidy Take:
Lazy Lounge is a lovely little Leeds hideaway for people who like their drinks with a bit of thought behind them. Good wine, cosy sofas, tastings and a relaxed grown-up feel without tipping into stiff and boring. Basically, a solid excuse to be lazy, but make it classy.
