Description:
Outlaws Yacht Club is a unique Leeds café bar, creative space and music hangout tucked away on New York Street. Part bar, part gallery, part record shop and part unofficial creative HQ, it serves craft beers, cocktails, coffee, sandwiches and snacks alongside DJs, exhibitions, live events and a properly independent atmosphere.

Good for:
Craft beer · Cocktails · Coffee · DJs · Live music · Creative meetings · Casual lunches · Freelancers · Dog-friendly visits · Indie culture · Relaxed drinks · Anyone who thinks a bar should have more personality than a drinks menu and four walls

Nearby:
Leeds Kirkgate Market · Leeds Bus Station · Victoria Gate · The Calls · Corn Exchange · Briggate · Leeds Playhouse · Merrion Street

Make a Day of It:
Start with a wander around Kirkgate Market or Victoria Gate, then head to Outlaws for coffee, lunch, drinks or whatever event is happening. It is a great place to slow down in the city centre, especially if you prefer somewhere with records, artwork and a bit of creative chaos over the usual polished bar routine.

The Tidy Take:
Outlaws Yacht Club is one of Leeds’ proper independent gems. It has that rare “locals know” feeling, mixing great drinks, music, art and community without trying too hard. A brilliant choice for a coffee, a cocktail, a meeting or simply somewhere interesting to spend a few hours.
